2004 Dem nominee Kerry endorsing Obama

Well, at least all those folks who were holding out waiting to see who "John Kerry reporting for duty" would endorse know where their votes will go now. Hope for Obama's sake that Kerry's got a BIG family!

At this point, we might as well use the logic -

You vote for the one and you get the other.

You vote for the other and you get the one

:flummoxed:

I don't like her and I don't know her. He knows her! :)
AFA, while you are a brilliant poster, I must disagree with this logic. There are MANY people I don't like and don't know. The guy who goes 25 in a 35, the one who doesn't signal, the one who holds up the line in the grocery store...etc..... But I'm sure many people who actually KNOW these folks like or indeed LOVE them. Closeness, family or otherwise, can breed love, like, dislike or hate.:dunno:

I can't speak for AFA but I think he was being partially humorous. I sure there are people close to the Clintons that like them for some reason, but it also is probably true that if the people that don't even know them personally dislike them as much as they do then there must be people that do know them that dislike them that much more because of that.

I figured he was being a little humorous. I definitely got the meaning of what he was saying. Just pointing out that just because Gore knows Hillary doesn't automatically mean he doesn't like her. Sometimes I think things like a disagreement between Gore and Clinton may get blown out of proportion in the press until you start hearing they don't like each other.

Maybe it's just me...I can't picture Gore having the capacity to dislike anyone...or like anyone for that matter!

Good post!

I don't like Edwards either, and think he must be nuts to believe anyone will accept that two America's BS from a multi millionairre. I'm forgetting this is short attention memory span American and no one really researches anything and often goes for the "better looking" candidate. Didn't he spend $1200 on a haircut? So he might actually be more beautiful than Hillary?

Not that he's vain or anything.

Did I mention I don't like any of them and think they're all full of crap? I'm sure I said that consistently the choices every 4 years are pretty lousy.

If only a poor guy could ever tell the truth about the sell out of the middle class in this country then it will never be heard.I can relate to being somewhat negative about our leaders and choices but also realize that if we are waiting for the perfect person we will be waiting till an imaginary hot spot freezes over. And where is the evidence that these people are not just a reflection of america or that this society is not geting the govt it deserves.Forgeting current politicians I wonder just who would be seen as someone worthy of support.Edwards is dead on about two america's and that nothing will be done to help the working class until the strangle hold by corporate lobbyists is broken.I don't think his hair cut diminishes that truth in any way,but will admit it is easy to be just against all the candidates.

They all flip flop. Like fine tuned advertising, they each say exactly what they think will best sell the product to the greatest demographic. When one commercial's angle doesn't work, they try another.
so true, with one exception.

They said on the news a few minutes ago they think an endorsement from Kerry isn't worth much.

I agree that Kerry's endorsement is really a handicap.--Now if Bill Clinton endorsed Obama and had to sleep on the couch for the rest of His life, that would be BIG!:1orglaugh

I always knew kerry was such a flip floper.
