I got rid of the throttle snatchiness on the 450NK I bought almost a year ago, after a 40 odd year break from motorcycling. There was way too much free play in the throttle. Slow.speed roundabouts were a nightmare. Adjusted the cables and now something happens as soon as I turn the throttle. Transformed the ride. Took spanners with me when I collected my 450MT and adjusted the throttle cables before I left the dealer.

The difference is that the market leading Brit bikes were decades out of date and Jap bikes good pretty much from the get go. The amazing thing about Chinese bike (and car) manufacturers is how long it's taken for them to get anywhere near Japanese or Euro stuff (even though they constantly copied Japanese designs in the past). If you look at the massive size of China, it's massive population and wealth you'd have thought they'd be making the ultimate bikes and cars by now. They could of given you a moped and you would of had fun on a cart track. Any news on the "fagan reacts" vid of chris chopping up a RSV and the swing arm bukkake? Team R1!
If it's reliable in the long term, that's a good bike for the price. I do wish you guys would tell us if your speedo is set to KPH or MPH at the beginning. I'm assuming it was MPH on this one.
I've been riding bikes for over 40 years, Virtually every bike I rode for the first 20 I scraped , either the centre stand, side stand , pipes, or footpegs almost every time I rode one.. People have become so precious, I bet you're not even capable of scraping them on this bike, it's only the hero knobs on the pegs anyway, which you can still scrape on a number of bikes....
Hey if you're happy, that's all that counts. But I'd rather not save a few thousand dollars and cop a 'high side' because parts were scraping and the rev limiter kicked in.
Snatchy throttle? Big maybe on a software fix (since it’s a cable operated throttle iirc). Reliability? Well it’s not gonna be the worst because we’d already hear about it from other bikes. Abs? Maybe better tyres will help. A lot of maybes, but then you get to the price and suddenly it’s maybe I should at least try it… But then for a few hundred euro more you have a Honda hornet so the choice is pretty obvious isn’t it
Sounds like a Street Triple. I just wonder if most folks would still be happier buying a decent second-hand Street Triple 675? At least it will still be worth something in two or three years time.
My issue with Chinese made bikes has nothing to do with production quality, or their fun factor, but is instead political. (I would throw in economics too, but compared to Thailand or India, or ..., the average worker in China is paid better than in those countries. Still, it's 1/3rd the wage of an average worker in the US, and I'm guessing European countries too.) I know it would be easier, more fun, to ignore this aspect of motorcycling, but I'm unable to do that. China is led by a dictator and it actively oppresses its citizens (notice the changes that have happened in Hong Kong since their return to China, e.g.). For the same reason, I wouldn't buy a bike made in Russia, or North Korea, or Angola.
Their policemen don't even carry weapons, so there is that for oppression. Yes, the goverment it's handled by a single party, but China has not participated on country invasions for centuries unlike most of the western countries in the XIX and XX century. They are not the only ones to present ethical problems. Also, western corporations you are happy with (and their providers) probably acquire chinese parts without a problem.
People are okay buying electronics with components made from cobalt mined by children inhaling toxic dust, so they can say how annoyed they are about a Chinese motorcycle on RUclips...
Even if these are not "the bikes for you", their presence in the market will weigh on the prices of the premium brands that you are interested in, and that's a handy thing.

I have no problems with bikes like this coming out, my issue is will that model be available and supported in like 5 years as going of history they change models faster than I change my draws. Also when the become a bit more the norm hopefully the residual value doesn't drop of a cliff.
Seems to be more than a match to the Trident 660?
Imo this looks far better than the faired version.
Need to try out the other Chinese brand bike. Bendo or Benda or Bender? Something like that.... ;)
Benelli - old Italian firm bought by new Chinese owners. Benelli was founded before world war one!
Bikes designed in Italy, built in China. Quality - your guess is as good as mine bro.
It's Benda
How does it compare to the Trident and Hornet 750?
Is there any preload adjustability in the shock?
Cant wait for their v4 superbike...
1000cc v4 cf moto will be launched around 2026
They could of given you a moped and you would of had fun on a cart track. Any news on the "fagan reacts" vid of chris chopping up a RSV and the swing arm bukkake? Team R1!
Chega algum dia no Brasil 😅😅
If it's reliable in the long term, that's a good bike for the price. I do wish you guys would tell us if your speedo is set to KPH or MPH at the beginning. I'm assuming it was MPH on this one.
It's clearly kmh
Are those hats coming to the website ?
They’ve been meaning to put them up for about 6 months
It could be a real option for many riders, my concern is the longevity. I wouldn't want a bike that starts burning oil of overheating after 30K miles.
hot bike
Most riders its fine for us that started on the pw50 bin 😅😂
I wanna see a comparison against the Trident 660 !
What was Fagan's lap time?
The peg scraping is beyond the threshold of acceptable for me.
Sorry to hear your skill level is clearly above the bikes.........
Hey if you're happy, that's all that counts. But I'd rather not save a few thousand dollars and cop a 'high side' because parts were scraping and the rev limiter kicked in.
@Conky769 I'll take 500 for shit that will never happen 🤣
SO REMOVE THEM! Hardly a deal breaker...@@Conky769
I think these Chinese motorcycles are a good thing even if they are decent quality it should help. Keep the Japanese bikes price in check.
7:37 oh, must we really have a talk with Chris?
It would be awesome if they did an NK 1000 with 150 hp.
Years time it's worth foook all
Every CF Moto seems to have the same issue: the throttle.
I really would have preferred, if they had the back of the 800nk, without the hump.
Does the dash say ‘dash’?
CST makes TimSun tyres, those are more upmarket premium tyres, way stickier one
The new KTM 675 Duke 🤣
Snatchy throttle? Big maybe on a software fix (since it’s a cable operated throttle iirc). Reliability? Well it’s not gonna be the worst because we’d already hear about it from other bikes. Abs? Maybe better tyres will help. A lot of maybes, but then you get to the price and suddenly it’s maybe I should at least try it…
But then for a few hundred euro more you have a Honda hornet so the choice is pretty obvious isn’t it
I like it
Watch party party 👍😀
USA needs tariffs on them ASAP. They are too cheap !!!
If MSRP in UK under 6k, you can accept all it's "problems".....to be honest in 2025😂😂😂 unbelievable it's 3 cylinders holy shit
It’s cheap but poor value for money considering so many great used options at that price point. Not to mention the new hornet SP.
How many "rescue me" notes did ya find tucked into the body work, from the factory workers?
Cheap for a reason
People are okay buying electronics with components made from cobalt mined by children inhaling toxic dust, so they can say how annoyed they are about a Chinese motorcycle on RUclips...
